Tendex was originally developed by Dave Heeren to measure basketball players performance based on box scores.  As used on this site it is [Points Rebounds Assists Steals Blocks - Turnovers - Missed Field Goals - Missed Free Throws] / Minutes for teams and for players it is [Points Rebounds Assists Steals Blocks - Turnovers - Missed Field Goals - Missed Free Throws] / Minutes/Game Pace (Game Pace=teams measure above).  Adding Game Pace evens out performances in slow and fast paced games.
